 A little about the CD See Straight Through Me
and the meanings behind the songs.
This is my debut CD, which includes 5 acoustic original songs. Just me and my guitar, pure and simple. Thanks for listening and God bless!


1. Fragile  “ This song was inspired by one of my best friends.  She went through a really bad break up and I spent a lot of time with her where she would just fall to pieces over anything that reminded her of him.  I wrote it for the next guy, pretty much saying, be careful with her because she is Fragile. Don’t toss her around; don’t mess around on her, because even something as insignificant as fingerprints can show up. You hold her heart in your hands, heaven forbid you be the one to break it.”

2. He Loves Me (He Loves Me Not) “This song was inspired by the game we used to play when we were kids. You’d take a flower and pull the petals off saying he loves me, he loves me not, hoping that it would end with them loving you.  This songs about the kind of love where I love him, but he doesn’t’ love me.  It’s one of my favorites that I’ve ever written.”


3. My Little Black Dress  “ This is a fun girls night out kind of song with the one important outfit every girl needs: the stunning and reliable little black dress. ;) ”

4. You’re Gonna Be Sorry “ I came up with this song thinking about how protective fathers are about their daughters dating, and the extremes they may go to.  I figured if I wanted a boy to know he better treat me right or he’s gonna be sorry that mentioning my daddy’s  shot gun was a good way to give him a bit of a scare.  Hahaha!”

5. Raw & Real  “ I truly believe God helped me write this song. The third verse came first and the chorus after that. Everything just really flowed out of me.  I love this song because it’s true.  I don’t want to change for people.  If you want to follow me, then thank you, but know I am who I am, and I will not play the role of someone I am not just to make you happy.  God made me who I am, and I’m thankful he did. And yes I really do cry myself to sleep sometimes.”
